Dr Fraser Callaghan graduated with commendation from the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in 2008. Fraser went on to successfully complete his foundation year in the prestigious Borland and Morton clinic in Hamilton where he gained extensive experience in delivering cosmetic dentistry.
Following his foundation year Fraser committed to learning from the leading figures in cosmetic dentistry from around the world. He has studied and lectured in New York, Harley Street, Geneva and Brazil, learning from the likes of Dr Newton Fahl and Dr Didier Dietschi.
Fraser’s philosophy is to always put the patient's needs and desires first, creating bespoke smile transformation plans for each and every patient.
Dr Callaghan was delighted to successfully graduate from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2010 with his MFDS RCS diploma. His extensive programme of post graduate study in the field of cosmetic dentistry lead him to obtain full member status of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in 2012, making him one of the youngest dentists in the UK to ever achieve this. Not content with stopping here, Fraser went on to complete his training in aesthetic adult orthodontics and currently uses a number of different systems including Simply Smile fixed appliances, Clearsmile aligners, Invisalign and the popular Inman Aligner.
In 2015 Dr Callaghan was awarded the title of Best Young Dentist (Scotland and Northern Ireland) at the UK Dentistry Awards. He sits on the editorial board of Dentistry Scotland magazine, and has recently been appointed a UK opinion leader for leading dental materials manufacturer Ivoclar Vivadent.
Fraser is Clinical Director of Brite Dental in Edinburgh, a state-of-the-art practice dedicated to both family and digital cosmetic dentistry.
